Mount Tamborine is a must visit for any visitor to the Gold Coast, Brisbane or northern NSW. Just a
short drive from the Gold Coast it's a pleasant change from the beach and high-rise coastal scene.
Magnificent views east to the coast and Surfers Paradise are complemented by incredible views west
to the hinterland. Steep escarpments on both sides add to the special atmosphere here, as well as old
pubs, shopping and dining.
There's much more to Mt Tamborine so I'll do a more thorough photographic investigation next time I'm
nearby.

The Botanical Gardens at Mt Tamborine are well worth the visit and are admirably
maintained by a local volunteer group.
